SnapList by Sahaay works two ways, depending on whether you've added your own AI key in Settings:
With your own key (unlimited, fully private): photos you add are resized in your browser and sent directly from your device to the AI provider you chose (Google Gemini or OpenRouter) using the key you supply. We don't operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to your photos, your key, or the listings you generate. Your key and your history of generated listings are stored only in this browser's local storage, on this device, and are never transmitted to us.
Without a key (the default, limited to a small number of free generations per day): your photo and the details you enter are sent to a server we operate, which forwards them to our AI provider using our own key and returns the result to you. We do not store the photos or the generated listing on our server beyond the time it takes to process the request. To apply a fair daily limit per visitor without requiring an account, we generate a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address — the original IP is never stored — and keep only a usage count against that hash for the current day, which is deleted the next day.
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
